WWF No Mercy Prototypes
It's 1998, and your friend just rented WWF No Mercy for N64. Everyone has their own controller and rumble pack. Your friend's dad just ordered pizza with extra cheese. You don't know it right now but this is as good as life will ever get
I have seen different variations of the quote above using Goldeneye, etc.(which makes more sense since No Mercy came out in late 2000 but, uh.. anyway).
Today everyone gets three new alphas and betas from the development of WWF No Mercy!

This was an early, limited demo of the game first playable at E3 2000.
The demo is much smaller and different than the completed game.
There is a limited menu of game modes, and only 6 characters are available in the game. The wrestling gameplay is faster(?), I think there may be different weapons available, etc. etc.
July 2000 - August 2000
Both builds are very similar to each other, but both also have many differences from the final game.
Perhaps the most exciting thing about both builds are that they include the famously cut character:
The Big Show!
AKI wrestling game enthusiasts and modders need no longer wonder about his lost theme music, assets, and animations. All that ever existed of him may be here and available to see and play with now.
These builds of the game also have a different/lack of splash screens on startup, nonsensical weights and heights of wrestlers, default settings on "create a wrestler" are different, some people glitch through the ring stairs in their intros. There is at least one game mode that may crash the game when selected, so there were likely still a few bugs being fixed at this stage of development.

The homepage listings of this website were not updated for this one previously, but this is the latest known beta of the game that was featured on the popular Hard4Games YouTube channel and publicly released around this same time last year.
